Private Lesson:
Private lessons are catered to the student individually. If you have a specific project/skill/problem in mind and want a one-on-one lesson. You are welcome to schedule this as a semi-private as well. Note: One private lesson is necessary to assess skills if you’d like to be placed in an Advanced Beginner class without Prerequisites.
Which Beginner friendly Sewing class is right for me?
New to sewing and not sure where to start? Beginner Friendly classes are for those just starting their sewing experience or wanting a refresh on their sewing skills. Machine Fundamentals and Level 1 Sewing are great choices to start off!
Learn about the machine, needles, pressor feet, stitches and more.
Machine Fundamentals
Level 1 Sewing
Cover sewing basics and make a Tote bag, zipper pouch and Storage Pod.
Beginner Pants
Learn to make simple loose fitting pant pattern with an elastic waistband.
Beginner Apron
Make a Chef Style apron with lined patch pocket and neck facing.
Beginner Circle Skirt
Learn to make a circle skirt cut on the bias with an elastic waistband or inserted zipper.
Using Patterns
Lecture Style. Pattern Envelopes, Measurement charts and more.
Beginner Zipper Pillow
Make a pillow form with optional piping and fold over or exposed zipper options.

Private Lessons
Ms. Zoe is our skilled Adult teacher and our NEW Private lesson teacher. She has lots of creativity and knowledge to share. To book an appointment choose dates below Zoe’s calendar.

All group adult classes must have a minimum of 4 students to be held. You will be notified one week prior to the class start date if the class must be cancelled. In the case of a cancellation you may use your payment towards Sew Fun credit or you may receive a full refund for your class.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel for a class, you must give us at least one week’s notice. If we are notified one week or before of the class start date then we will either reimburse you for your tuition or you can use your payment towards another class. If we are notified in less than a week’s time then we will not be able to provide a refund. We hope that you understand we are a small business and this policy helps us to offer the best classes and instructors. Thank you.
Private Lessons:
If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours or you do not show up for your private lesson, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $30. **This does not apply to group classes.**
